Earlier this month, the beautiful Carrie Underwood wed her beau, Canadian hockey player Mike Fisher, in a Monique Lhuillier gown and jeweled tiara. While the blushing bride radiated happiness, it looks like she turned to products from Too Faced to enhance her wedding day glow.
“Usually on award shows, we really vamp it up, and Carrie looks beautiful but [for the wedding, we] toned down a little bit. We just took it down a notch,” Underwood’s makeup artist, Melissa Schleicher, told People magazine.
To emphasize the country crooner’s gorgeous gaze, Schleicher used Too Faced’s Natural Eye Kit. “It’s amazing. It has all the colors you need. And I wet it to get that shimmery look and to get the golds to pop out and it makes it stay put,” she added.
For a picture perfect smile, Schleicher painted Underwood’s lips with the brand’s super-shine lip gloss, Glamour Gloss in Barely Legal, a soft marshmallow pink. The high-pigmented formula also hydrates and plumps lips, ensuring that Underwood had the perfect pout for her first legally married kiss with Fisher.
