Not Your Average Braid
You’ve probably noticed by now that braids are everywhere, and they’re getting more and more complicated. If you want to jazz up your usual braid without having to figure out how to do something complicated, like creating a headband or a twisty French braid, there’s an easy solution.
According to The Beauty Department, you can mix up your average braid by pulling it to the side and braiding one of the strands before you start the main one. Use a bit of Hamadi – Shea Pomade for added texture, then separate your hair into three sections. Braid one of these (it doesn’t matter which one), then incorporate this piece into the big braid. Easy, right?
It looks even better if you use your fingers to loosen both braids for added texture. You’ll notice that the pattern is a bit different from a regular braid, which is totally pretty. If you’re worried that it might fall out over the course of the day, Leonor Greyl – Structure Naturelle can help to keep it in place.
